Aromas of Pure Coffee Essential Oil from Brazil, and Pure Chocolate Absolute for France....these are aromas of pleasure....revered all over the world.

This little tin is my favorite gift of the heart. Treat yourself and those you love with aromas that touch the soul, and contribute to the joys of living.

    Candace's Corner of The World

After lots of wonderful "doings" in November and December shipping holiday oils, John and I decided to make a concerted effort for some quiet time of "being". So we drove off with our puppy, Muga, to a cabin in Oak Creek Canyon, Arizona, for a week. No phones, TV, or computers...my kind of place. John had a little withdrawal without the computer, so we drove into Sedona one day to the Ravenheart Internet Cafe, to be sure all was well in the world.

Out of quiet and listening comes guidance and creation. Praise God for these glimpses and moments in our lives. For me, it is a three step prayer: (1) Ask for increased awareness to hear the guidance, (2) Ask for the courage to follow it, when you get it, and (3) Ask for the faith to do it, that leaves no room for doubt. It takes a lot of courage to lead these lives. I do believe that deep in our hearts, we are all doing our best as we climb our own mountain. So muster up your strength and keep climbing yours. Oils are one of the gifts nature gives us to enrich the adventure.

While pouring these little 4 ml amber glass bottles of Coffee and Chocolate, I wondered who would receive them. I like the mystery of not knowing, while at the same time knowing they will bring their joy to someone. Putting a dab on my wrist was a whiff of heaven. Aromatherapy is part of the "Good Medicine" of life. Native Americans use the word "Medicine" for anything that connects them to Great Spirit. Thus, the name for our company and good works.

One of our new treats for you this year is this little tin....like "The Little Engine That Could" (my favorite story as a child). While climbing your mountains, little sniffs from your vials of coffee and chocolate will inspire you to keep going. No calories...how nice!

    What's On YOUR Mind?

Aromas, Memories, and Pleasures. I was raised outside Washington, DC, in Chevy Chase, Maryland. With each trip to Georgetown, I made a point of going into the coffee and tea shop on Wisconsin Avenue, just to smell the rich soul- soothing aromas of coffee. The little narrow shop had dark beautiful wooden shelves to the ceiling of different coffees and teas. The atmosphere was delicious. It was a soulful experience just to be there, breathing. I felt the same way about an exquisite chocolate shop in Zurich, Switzerland on the beautiful Bahnhofstrausse. So when I found pure Coffee Essential Oil from Brazil and pure Chocolate Absolute from France, it was time to put these two sensual aromas together in a tin for the pure enjoyment of their deep, luscious aromas.

Seldom did I buy coffee in the coffee shop in Georgetown, and I walked completely through the chocolate shop in Zurich, not buying a single piece of chocolate. I was completely satisfied with the absorbed aromas and felt wonderful! Years later after studying the nose- brain connection, I now understand why.

    Aromas of Pleasure

In a world that is very occupied with busy "doings", it takes a concerted effort to make time for simply "being". We are now in the aftermath of what one customer called the "frenzy" of the holidays. What could be a better way to move forward than using essential oils just for the pleasure of pure aromas to soothe frazzled emotions, calm scattered minds, and comfort the heart.

Dr. Depak Chopra says smell shifts the brain chemistry in less that a second. Dr. Candace Pert says aromas create an emotion and the brain feeds cells throughout our body with the new corresponding brain chemistry to that emotion, created by the smell. Cezar Millan says "The nose moves the brain."

The only sense that is completely developed at birth is our sense of smell. It is reported to be as much as 80% of taste . No wonder aromas are so important to our sense of pleasure. Those suffering from anosmia, loss of smell, are often subject to depression. Think of all the times aromas have brought you pleasure.

Our sense of smell is a profound soulful element that contributes to our sense of well-being. So select your favorite mist, pure essential oil, and blend. Let them show you how to enjoy the present moment....while they usher you forward into the new year. Breathe them deeply, as you put your thoughts and feelings on your goals and dreams for now and the future. Aromas of pleasure can bring joy to your daily living.

Our focus this month is the introduction of our Oil Lady Aromatherapy® Coffee and Chocolate Tin. This little tin brings to your nose and heart...the most revered aromas in the world. Treat yourself! Valentine's Day is on the horizon.
