Salutations To You!

Summer is upon us and our 16th Anniversary was a wonderful time to connect with so many of you and hear your stories. One of the things I hear the most is the issue of anxiety. It is a complex topic and each situation is unique for each person. So this month's newsletter is devoted to finding tranquility.

Essential oils can be an integral part of a well thought- out plan to help you through the forest of anxiety. To hear my newsletter, click Hear Candace Speak (just over 4 minutes).

  • This Month's Spotlight Is On...

Our Natural Tranquilizer formula comes in a 1 oz amber bottle with orifice and a 4 oz cobalt bottle with a lock-pump top. Both sizes are 10% off for you this month. Our new OLA Comfort Care Pak has been received so well that we are continuing the 10% special.

Natural Tranquilizer is our formula of therapeutic grade pure essential oils of Lavender, Orange, Roman Chamomile, Vetiver and Valerian in a base of 100% Organic Golden Jojoba. This is all ready to use for massage, the bath and after shower. Just a touch to the nose, temples and back of neck at any time is quite calming.

    Candace's Corner of The World

The Natural Tranquilizer was originally created in my private practice to help with anxiety relief and sleep. These issues like so many things in life have many parts to them and therefore it is most effective to have a package of helpful things and a routine to shift the state of imbalance back to balance. Bring essential oils into the program and notice the power and comfort of the silent language of pure aromas.

The International New Age Trade Show (INATS West) in Denver was June 27-29th, which meant John and I could make it a road trip. Heading off for 6 hours across the wide open spaces of the mountains and plains is good for the soul. It was wonderful to see some old friends and make some new ones. How refreshing to see so many people doing "Good Works" and being part of the Good News in life. People are searching for balance and peace more than ever, and essential oils are a valiant part of the package of soulful elements to help us all.

We will be in Phoenix Convention Center in Arizona, September 18-20th, for the American Massage Therapy Association Annual Conference (AMTA). Another road trip ... probably 8 hours this time across the desert. It's always wonderful to have some space and time to listen and get some clarity. Mists and Breath Mint in the car for an energy lift are always part of the program.

    What's On YOUR Mind?

    Happy Tranquil Customers Report:
"My granddaughter always has trouble getting to sleep, so she rubs her belly with Natural Tranquilizer, as she is counting, and off to sleep she goes. This is a wonderful product!"

"Your Natural Tranquilizer is one of my favorite of your formulas. It is so soothing for me. I include it in each of my orders as one of my regular oils. Thank you for being there for all of us!"

"Affer being at a retreat for my 30th birthday, I now have a much greater appreciation for your wonderful aromatherapy products!"

    Natural Tranquilizers

There are many pure essential oils whose natural chemistry makes them excellent candidates for serving us as natural tranquilizers. Essential oils work through the nose-brain connection, changing brain chemistry which goes out as messengers to receptor sites on cells throughout our body. Essential oils are lipid soluble so they also work through our skin into the blood steam. These are some of the reasons why essential oils can be natural tranquilizers for us...calming the mind and emotions...and relaxing the tissue of the body.

When using "aromatic medicine" for an increased sense of well being, it is paramount to notice how you FEEL when you are smelling an essential oil or combination of them. You don't want to use ones that bring up unpleasant thoughts and feelings. Essential oils demand that we honor the individuality in each of us, because the sense of smell is so personal. This is one reason why they are so healing. Choose oils with aromas that really create soothing thoughts and feelings. It is also important that you use therapeutic-grade essential oils.

Some of the top ones are Lavender, Orange, Chamomile, Vetiver and Valerian. They make up our formula called "Natural Tranquilizer". This formula of essential oils, in a base of 100% Organic Golden Jojoba, makes it easy to use right from the bottle.

There are several ways to use the formula to receive its benefits. It can be used for massage, in the bath and after the shower. A quick application to the nose, temples and back of neck can be done anytime and as often as you like.

If this combination does not appeal to you, choose a single oil or two. Lavender, Orange, Geranium, Rose, Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang are some good single choices. Having a little 4 ml bottle of a pure oil in your pocket to use as an inhaler (5-7 deep breaths when feeling anxiety coming on) can become your best friend. Also put some on a cotton ball and tuck it close to your heart and lungs.

Misting is another easy aromatic delight to help with anxiety. This is personal again, so any of our four mists can be right for you.

Essential oils are timeless and cross-cultural. One of their best qualities is their natural ability to soothe our emotional state. Find "your aroma" and your life will change. As you change in life, "your aroma" will change too. This is part of the inherent beauty of all things true. Be gentle with yourself ... life is precious.
