  • This Month's Spotlight Is On...

Our Rejuvenation Face Gel is our most popular formula for women and men (made just for me in about 1995) and its ancient aromas have become our signature scent. So now it is available in a mist.

For this month the NEW Rejuvenation Pak, which is smaller and in a new carrying case, and our NEW Rejuvenation Mists (3 sizes) are on special for you....treat your face for YOUR Spring!

    Candace's Corner of The World

The first time essential oils touched my skin and my nose in 1989, I knew there was much more here than what meets the skin and nose. They seemed to touch the heart and soul, with messages about the spirit of life....all the while they were making me FEEL better, physically and mentally.

In 1993, by the grace of God, I flew to London to study with leading Aromatherapist Micheline Arcier. At the time she was not teaching any more, but due to a letter I sent her, she told me I was to come over to London because she was to teach me. It was her connection with the essence of essential oils and her luminous gentle yet strong spirit, that made me feel like "home". She learned her craft from Marguerite Maury and Dr. Jean Valnet, pioneers of modern aromatherapy. With the passing of these three individuals, came a great loss to the world of compassionate human beings with tremendous passion for their "works", and a vast perspective on the profound powers of aromatherapy on the body and mind.

April will be the one year anniversary of Micheline Arcier's passing. In her book, Aromatherapy, she explains how the "odour" acts on the emotions and thoughts to create an atmosphere of well being, and through right skin application the oils themselves aid the "tonicity and elasticity" of our skin.

In Marguerite Maury's book, The Secret of Life and Youth, she states, " We are not trying to add years to life, but to add life to the years!" These two ladies had a rich and fulfilling life together and individually. Their connection with the essence of life, is what kept them young and passionate. Essential oils were the medium. I salute them both. This is barely a drop from their ocean of knowledge and wisdom.

"Pleasant smells can be attributed to the well being of humans." Aristotle

    What's On YOUR Mind?

Here are some wonderful things to do for yourself...and loved ones:

    1. Use straight pure essential oils for inhalation to change your mind and create Happy Thoughts and Feel Good Emotions. Carry a little bottle as an inhaler, or use cotton balls and diffusers.

    2. Use blends of appropriate essential oils in base oil for the following: (A) Pour in palm, apply to nose, temples, back of neck. Rub palms and cup nose, close eyes and inhale deeply. Massage face and body daily. (B) Make up a warm bath and do (A) while sitting in the tub. (C) After a shower while still wet, do (A). Then towel off. Who's on first...and What's on third? Laughing keeps us young at heart.

Some of our best blends for renewing the skin and the mind are: OLA Blends #1,#2,#4,#7 and Scar & Bruise Oil. One of my regulars is to put some Rejuvenation Gel in my palm, add a little puddle of Organic Golden Jojoba and use it as my massage oil for face, neck and body.

    Secrets of Staying Young

Wouldn't it be great to have the "secret," the magic bullet? Well, we do...it's right inside of us: Divine Love starts in the heart...the place where it's always been...patiently waiting for us...to quietly come home.

I've often thought that as a society, it's time for us to THINK with the heart and FEEL with the mind. The Egyptians believed the center of intelligence was the heart. We all know our thoughts, beliefs, and feelings are reflected in our physical tissue and the happenings of our daily lives. I once heard Dr.Chopra put it so succinctly: Happy Thoughts create Happy Cells.

Our thoughts can be "happy" if we are focused on connecting to"right" activities/work, right people and right places. Then there is right food, right exercise, sleep, prayer, meditation, silence and love of nature. And oh yes...the mind. Each, a book in its own right. Aromas are one of the most instantaneous ways to change our mind due to the olfactory system's relationship with the brain. Essential oils are part of the package of good medicines to stay young in body and spirit.

Aromas are a language of thought, memory and emotion. Essential oils were among the origins of medicine as liquid elixirs for the skin, and of perfume due to pure concentrated aromas. Their rejuvenating properties for tissue repair and renewal , as well as for the mental-emotional state, has been known from Cleopatra to holistic medical doctors. They knew their secrets of life and rejuvenation.

One must use pure high-grade essential oils to benefit from their cell-regenerative properties. Before rubbing them on the skin, be sure they are blended in high-grade base ingredients, like Organic Golden Jojoba (which by itself is radiant for the skin).

Frankincense, Sandalwood, Geranium, and Rose are some of the ancient and best known essential oils for restoring vitality to the skin. They also create a greater sense of well being for the spirit. Hippocrates's prescription for good health was a scented bath and aromatic massage every day. Imagine the change in stress levels if we did this! It would wipe the slate clean everyday. This is a Happy Thought!
