Creation is food for the soul and makes for a happy heart. Over the past 15 years, the creation of my formulas has been a real joy to me. So let's get into the adventure of creating your own liquid soap.

First, find a natural and healthy liquid soap that you like, or purchase the one I have used for 10 years that we carry in our product line. Then select the essential oil that is right for you. This will change and that's part of the adventure and fun of it all.

The sky is the limit for combinations and essential oils. My favorite and the most popular is Lavender. Choose an oil for the pleasure of the aroma and for the best properties for your skin. Lavender and Geranium are good for all skin types. Tea Tree or Lemon are good for oily or troubled skin. For dry or delicate skin, try Sandalwood or Rose. We sell the essential oil combination of 11 of my formulas, and these are excellent in the liquid soap. Our Rejuvenation Face Gel formula is excellent. All the OLA 7 Body and Face formulas are available.

Start by adding one drop of essential oil for each liquid ounce of soap. This would be a light dosage. Shake it and try it. Add up to 2 drops per ounce to get the strength that you need. Remember: All essential oils are different and with a strong oil like Rose otto, start with half of the above suggestions. The liquid soap that we carry, can be used full strength or it can be diluted. Directions for this are on the bottle. Experiment and have fun! Why not have one at the sink at work for your hands?

One of our clients had an itchy rash on his back for years and nothing the doctors gave him helped. He first used straight Tea Tree on the rash as a strong one time treatment. He had relief the next day. Now he uses Tea Tree in our liquid soap for his shower, so he gets a daily cleanse at a safe dosage for the health of his skin. Good news!

    Liquid Lavender Soap
Cleansing our bodies is one of those things that we do quite regularly. Think how often we are rubbing a substance into our skin, the largest breathing organism. Certainly we want to use soaps that make our skin happy and our body healthy. With essential oils we can also apply "sweet scents to the brain", which is the Greek definition of aroma.

In an age bombarded with chemicals, we are "reading labels" until we are needing glasses. For the past 10 years, I have had a favorite liquid soap that is a permanent fixture in my shower and on my sink. Because of this, we carry it in our product line. Many of you know this and buy two and three at a time.

This unscented liquid soap is a product of Omega Nutrition and contains no alcohols or chemicals. The glorious part of this is you add the essential oil that is right for you at that time. Enjoy the antiseptic properties as well as the aroma. Change it as you like, or have several made up with different oils for different reasons. I prefer the liquid soap because you can dilute it or not, to suit your needs (baby's included); and you can also add the essential oil you like in the strength that is right for you.

Lavender is from the Latin word "Lavare" which means to wash and cleanse. How perfect! Liquid Lavender Soap, as gentle or strong as you like it! So this is our special for This Month's Spotlight. Of course you have as many choices as there are essential oils (over 400). Peppermint is a favorite for the refreshing menthol feeling. Tea Tree is good for skin problems. How about a special treat of Rose, Jasmine or Sandalwood sometime! See Candace's Corner of The World for recipes.
