Using The Good
Medicine Tin® to help with change, stress, and transition is easy!
1. Keep
the Lavender Mist with you. Use constantly when feeling overwhelmed and
out of balance: at home, in office, in the car, before bed, etc.
2.
Carry one of the five pure essential oils with you. Inhale 5 to 7 deep
slow breaths often. Put 1 to 2 drops on cotton ball for your pocket (or
give to another.)
3. Put
10 to 14 drops of the Organic Golden Jojoba in your palm, add 1 drop of
essential oil, and use for massage. Apply Palm Blend first to nose. Then
rub temples, back of neck, shoulders and belly.

Thanks for your
EXCELLENT newsletter!!!!! What can I do for insomnia?
Change
and stress in our lives often means restless sleep. This transition
requires preparation and a routine. STOP doing any stimulating work or
activity, including telephone and television, at least 30 minutes before
bedtime, and START preparing yourself for bed.
If you
choose to take a BATH as part of this preparation, be sure the water is
not too hot, which can stimulate you. Use warm water with a couple of
drops of Lavender. Make a Palm Blend as decribed in the feature article
with Lavender and/or Orange.
CREATE
A NEW HABIT that tells your mind and body it is time to sleep. (1) Sit on
the bed and use the Lavender Mist. Think about washing away the day, and
calming the wild monkeys swinging from tree to tree in your mind. (2)
Breathe deeply from the pure Lavender bottle. Put one drop on the pillow
or the corner of the bed. (3) Make a Palm Blend with Jojoba and Lavender,
apply this to the nose, temples, back of neck and shoulders. Then lay on
your back and do a slow, gentle belly rub. TESTS HAVE SHOWN THAT LAVENDER
IS SO EFFECTIVE WITH INSOMNIA THAT OFTEN IT CAN REPLACE SLEEP MEDICATION.

Where in the World?
|
|

|
|
Still in Saudi Arabia...this call to the
World of the Arabic Desert gives me tremendous respect for those who
centuries ago, traveled the secret trade routes across this relentless
land, with Frankincense and Myrrh.
Whether
it is the blinding sun, the heat of the day, or the "shamaal"
northwind sandstorms...it is survival of the fittest. This requires a
sturdy mind, body, and spirit. The transition calls for digging deeper to
another level of trust, faith, and joy. Going within is the path that
leads out. We all have our deserts.
In
these turbulent times in the desert....Ensha Allah...God willing...we can
all travel the sacred route of Hope together, find Compassion for one
another, and live in Peace.

Change, Stress, and Transition
|
|

|
|
When we face
changes in life, we feel stress. When we feel stress, there is a call for
transition. Whether they are small transitions like waking up and going
to sleep, or large life and death issues...life is about change. These
times of change require tools of good medicine to guide us. These may
include: exercise, quiet time, good food, time with loved ones, animals,
nature, music, and more. We are each responsible for assembling our own
tool bag.
Our sense of smell is a great tool to
shift the way we feel. Since the beginning of time, people have known
that pure essential oils have the ability to instantly relieve stress and
ease the pains of change and transition.
The Good Medicine Tin® was first created
in 1991- 92 when I was facing some of the most stressful times in my
life. Essential oils showed me the depth of their effectiveness in coping
with physical and mental pain, and in comforting emotional turmoil. Since
that time our Good Medicine Tin® has served people in over 40 states and
10 countries. Lavender is known to balance the central nervous system, while
Orange helps to soothe the emotions with its sweet nurturing aroma.
Eucalyptus is warming and stimulating and keeps you breathing deeply;
while Peppermint can clear your mind and settle your stomach. Mists wash
away overwhelming thoughts, while baths and massages soften tense
muscles. These are the tools in The Good Medicine Tin® along with a
helpful booklet to guide you.
In these intense and troubled times of
the unknown, try using essential oils day and night to assist with
change, stress, and transition. We want to help you with this...so from
APRIL 7 to MOTHER'S DAY, MAY11...with a purchase of The Good Medicine
Tin®,...you will receive a FREE 2 oz. Rose- Lavender Mist. Give this gift
to youself and others.
