| What Can I Do? |
 |
Show up with a gift of Lavender Mist. Always ask
permission before misting.
1. Make large sweeping circles around the head and face.
2. If possible mist closely the back of the neck at the
hairline.
3. Hands and feet are also refreshing and comforting.
Remember to ask first.

| Q&A: We're glad you asked! |
 |
Is Lavender Mist always the best choice?
Lavender is the most acceptable smell to most people. Its
natural chemical constituents are anti-inflammatory,
antiseptic, and emotionally balancing to the nervous system.
Lavender-Peppermint Mist is good for a "menthol lift", and
Rose- Lavender Mist is the soothing, gentle mist of the heart.
I always say, when in doubt, without their nose there to
choose with you, choose Lavender.

| Where in the World? |
 |
Lavender has been cultivated since the recording of
civilization. Egyptians used it in mummification. Greeks and
Romans used it in bathing and cooking. In early Arabia it was
a known perfume.
Although the origins are misted in mystery, some show the
trade routes from Arabia and Greece into southern Europe and
England. First records of it in North America are with the
English pilgrims in the early 1600's.
Think of the lives the aromatic message and medicine of
Lavender has touched over the centuries: cleansing the air,
soothing the mind and emotions, healing the body, and
comforting the heart and soul. Through space and time, it is
still doing the same thing. |

News! |
 |
During the aftermath of the tragedy in New York City on
September 11th, we sent our Lavender Mists to the Aromatherapy
Massage Relief Team who worked for months massaging
firefighters and police during the cleanup. The reports we
received about the comfort this gave these people, brings
tears to one's eyes.

| Lavender Mist, Hospitals and Care Centers |
 |
| Everyone yearns for comfort and compassion when
involved in situations with health care. Essential oils are
perfect remedies to the rescue. Their 2 most valuable
attributes: the ability to instantly relieve stress, and to
create a healthy environment. Essential oils have always been
used to bring comfort to a situation, and ease the path
through transitions.
Lavender is the #1 essential oil for balancing emotional,
physical, and mental health. It is the most widely acceptable
smell to most people. The aroma soothes the emotions and lifts
the spirit. The oil cleanses the air and bathes the skin.
It never ceases to amaze me, how something as simple as a
gift of Lavender Mist, has changed the atmosphere of a
hospital room or care center. The loved one gets a breath of
fresh air, the room gets an aromatic facelift, and the people
that enter the room feel better too! I have noticed this
results in more cheerful people and better care.
If you are a caregiver, keep a Lavender Mist with you and
mist-away. What meaningful gifts of aroma for caregivers,
nurses, and family. A language without words for saying,
"Thank You", is an act of kindness. Notice how giving and
receiving become one. |
