Good Stress ... Tough Stress. We all know the many kinds of
stress, and this time of year is known to be capable of
bringing them all up! I think I would rather title this piece:
Aromatherapy & Joy. Moving from a stressful state to a
joyful state is often accomplished by nature, flowers, aromas
and oils. Aromas are a language of thoughts and feelings.
Perfect to assist us through the emotional stress of the
holiday.
One of Aromatherapy's most well known attributes is its
instantaneous ability to shift stress. This is due to
balancing natural chemistry of many essential oils, and due to
the nose-brain response of smell.
In this busy time of year ... let's keep it simple. So here
we go: (1) Select the pure essential oil that you LOVE, and
keep the bottle with you. Inhale 5-7 deep breaths often. Put 2
drops on a cotton ball and tuck it close to your heart and
lungs. Some good choices are: Lavender, Orange, Geranium,
Peppermint, Patchouli or Cedarwood.
(2) Make a Palm Blend with 8-10 drops of jojoba and 1-2
drops of essential oil. Apply to your nose, temples, back of
neck and heart. Also use this in a bath or after a shower.
(3) Another Aromatic Comforter is to mist your head, face
and neck often. Add 4 drops of your essential oil to 1 oz of
pure water, shake each time you mist ... or choose one of our
3 mists. Lavender Mist your pillow at night for restful sleep!
The life force in essential oils is vibrating well above
the hertz frequency of a healthy body. Mother Nature gives us
