For a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime ...
Essential oils come into our life for a reason, a
season or a lifetime. An example of this
is when they came into my life I was out searching for health help,
Lavender & Geranium were my "water" and I couldn't
get enough of them for about 6 months (a season). When I later
studied them I realized why, Lavender was a #1 stress reliever, and
Geranium helped to soothe and balance the female system (my ovarian
cyst). Then I learned about the anti-inflammatory properties of
Lavender for burns. I used it on a burn on my hand (a reason)
and since then keep a bottle in the kitchen. The lifetime
soul-affinity oil for me was Rose otto. The first time I got a
whiff of this amazing aroma, it melted my heart and I felt like I
was home. It is still this way 20 years later. We each
have a "soul affinity" with some oils. They are
guides, soothers and comforters as they assist us through the
trials and joys of life.
So it's 2012. Find your oil for the 2012 season or a
lifetime. Whatever your 2012 resolutions are ... your positive
affirmations and ways you want to be ... while you are
contemplating them ... smell your oil. The aroma-brain
chemistry entrainment is an autonomic nervous system response. For
example, I would like to continue to work on mastering my mind for
clarity of my mission here on earth. So while I am thinking about
how my magical mind is focusing on only LOVE, I also focus on how
good I feel by accomplishing this ... while smelling Rose
otto. The aroma connects with these feelings that signal
the brain to send neuropeptide-messengers (biochemical
units of emotion) to cells throughout the body...and the
tissue responds.
2012 is a perfect year to select the aroma that
connects to your true purpose. Go go the gold ... why not?

Some ideas: If
your 2012 goal is
relaxation, consider Lavender or Orange; for alertness and
clarity consider Peppermint or Lemon; for sensuality consider
Patchouli or Ylang Ylang; for your soul purpose consider
Frankincense or Rose. You MUST really love the oil. There are no
wrong choices. Keep a bottle with you for direct inhalation.

Candace's Corner of the World
 We
have been waiting for 2012 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our
oil company. The Oil Lady® started her journey in 1989 when my
health challenges introduced me to the oils. It evolved
from my home to the Naples, Florida shop-studio, and
then our base camp in Colorado.
Mostly we are
thankful for you and your continued support. We feel that our
work is a service and a mission to help people bring more balance
into their lives. Thank you for sending your family and friends to
us. In the midst of the times, it's great to be alive.
On January 28th in
Pagosa Springs, I will be assisting Julie Loar in a wonderful Oracle
Temple workshop. This is the time to
