Touch With Oils® ...

a language of no words

Summertime is associated with the insects of  whatever part of the world we are in. It appears that no one is "safe". Thank goodness there are essential oils to the rescue ... once again fulfilling their mission to bring comfort & guidance to us two-leggeds ... and some of our beloved four-leggeds as well!   Read on to see what you can easily do and how we offer you Tea Tree pure essential oil, as the July oil of choice.

The Peace of Aromatic Health and Prosperity to you!

Tea Tree Essential Oil: #1 First Aid Oil

Melaleuca alternifolia from Australia (not the Melaleuca trees so "well-known" in Florida). In the Aromatherapy world, Tea Tree is certainly in the top 2 oils for health along with Lavender. Every medicine cabinet should have these 2 essential oils, even if Aromatherapy is of no real interest for other reasons. Tea Tree is highly anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal. Skin "spots" subject to infection benefits from this powerful precious liquid. That said, correct application is paramount and as ole' Paracelsus said: "Poison is the dosage". Straight Tea Tree will take the enamel right off a phone. Use it sparingly. Use a Q-tip or your finger to dab on the cut, sting, scratch or bite (not near eyes). This can be applied 3-4 times. It will dry of the area quickly. Then switch to applying it in a base. Make a palm blend with aloe gel or Organic Golden Jojoba (about the size of a quarter in you palm) and add 1-2 drops of Tea Tree.
Relief is on the way ... keep it with you when hiking, biking, and playing outside.

Tea Tree July Summer Special: Purchase 2 bottles of 10 ml pure Tea Tree essential oil (Melaleuca alternifolia from Australia) ... and receive a 3rd one free.  Time to get a bottle for friends and family too for summer critters, scratches, cuts and stings. Safety Awareness: keep away from eyes. only use straight on "spots". For larger areas & continued use combine with aloe or Organic Golden Jojoba.

Quick Tip: For Summer Skin Care - in your favorite unscented liquid soap add 2 drops of Tea Tree oil and 1 drop of Geranium (or Lavender) per ounce of liquid soap.We use this is the shower and at the sink.  Story from Florida : With a 3 AM phone call, a client was in pain ... by mistake she put a drop of pure essential oil in her eye. I advised her to rinse it out with milk or cream on the way to the emergency room. She got immediate relief. The eye was checked for no damage and then they washed it out with water....pain again. Returning home and rinsing with milk brought relief. Message: Essential oils do not mix with water. They are lipid (fat) soluble. Rinse eyes with milk or cream.

Candace's Corner of the World ...

When living in Florida for over 33 years, mosquitos & no-see-ums (?) ruled the summers. Now that John, Muga and I are in Colorado, high and dry, at 7,000 ft, one would think things would be different. Not so good. Our 6-7 week season of no-see-ums love my tender Florida skin, and Muga's sweet little pink belly. Even John experiences the fascination of red welts. Then there's the mosquitoes.

Since pure essential oils are too strong to apply directly on animals (not with cats at all) ... the best remedy we've found for our chocolate lab-mix Muga is our Skin Calm Gel. She loves the aroma & waits to lick my fingers (safe & calms her down due to Chamomile & Lavender in the formula). Yes, she'll lick her belly, but first I rub it in well and distract her with some on my hands for licking.

John and I go for the straight Tea Tree as soon as possible and dab it right on the spots. We alternate this with Skin Calm Gel. It's a family-pack affair and we're grateful for the non-toxic relief.

THANK YOU from our hearts for being part of our 19th Anniversary Sale in June. It was our best one ever. John & I are so thankful to see our services & products continuing to be of great importance in helping our people bring comfort into their lives in challenging times.

We appreciate the opportunity to be a part of your life with our education and essential oils. Nature provides us with her essential oils to assist us through transitions, protect our physical & nonphysical health, & celebrate the joys of life.

Be gentle with yourself ... Life is precious ... so are you!
