Candace's Corner of The World

It's no surprise that John & "The Oil Lady®" ended up with an "oil puppy" from the Humane Society. Here's our Miss Muga Jean, "Muga", in the arms of her proud Mom.

At 3 months old, our overly excited chocolate lab-mix puppy arrived and had just been spayed. I gently rubbed our Skin Calm Gel on her belly. After licking my hands and then her belly, she calmed down. This loving routine lasted for several days. Her belly healed up nicely, and to this day (3 years later), she loves the Skin Calm Gel. When using it on me, she comes running over to lick it off my palms. She also comes running when I'm using the Lavender Mist . She sits and waits for her misting, puts her head up and licks the air. When her nails tear from running over rocks in the forest, on goes the Tea Tree Plus Gel and a pair of my cut-off socks ... healing paws during the night. We're both happy.

In my efforts to quit smoking and sleep better, I use your Lavender Mist to calm my nerves. My high-strung dog, Bingo, sleeps by the side of my bed, and I noticed he also became calm. Now he runs into the bedroom when it's time to go to bed and calmly waits for his Lavender Mist. Florida Customer

Aromatherapy Pet Care

Aromatherapy for animals is growing in popularity as we all look for good compassionate, healthy ways to help our best friends. Oil Lady Aromatherapy® started 18 years ago with education and only the purest of essential oils, to help people deal with stress and health conditions. In the process we discovered through our clients that our "people" formulas are also beneficial to horses and dogs. It is well recognized that the sense of smell can change behavior and physical conditions, and that horses and dogs have an innate instinct to recognize them and know what is good for them. Since an animal's sense of smell is hundreds of times stronger than humans, lower dosages and only the purest grade essential oils are important.

The Lavender Mist serves to reinforce a calm and balanced state. Make big circles about 2-3 feet above the head. You can also mist their bed, crate, stall and traveling vehicle for less anxious rides.

The Skin Calm Gel is our blend of four pure essential oils in our proprietary aloe-jojoba gel base. This anti-inflammatory formula is good for hot spots, dry, itchy, chapped, red, irritated skin and allergies.

Tea Tree Plus Gel is our blend of 5 essential oils in the same gel base. Good for bites, cuts, scrapes, troubled rashes and fungal infections. A little dab of pure Tea Tree essential oil may be applied to a snall cut,scratch or bite. It will dry the infected area out quickly. Then use the Gel.

For the Pack Leader and Rider: HealThy Hands Gel is our newest formula for our red, dry, chapped hands. Then add Organic Golden Jojoba after the gel application for more healing properties. This can also be used on our horse or dog.

All these formulas can be used by us humans and our dogs & horses. The meaningful bond that is created by the aromas and the touch, is a language of no words, and creates a brain entrainment for behavior. See my story with Muga in Candace's Corner.
