What Can I Do?
|
|

|
|
Select the
appropriate pure essential oil, and head for the shower.
1. Turn
on the shower with hot water.
2.
After the steam starts to accumulate add 3 to 4 drops of pure essential
oil on the shower floor.
3. Turn
water down to warm, step into the aromatic mist, breathe deeply, and
enjoy the benefits of these precious oils.

Q&A: We're glad you asked!
|
|

|
|
Can I put the oils on my body and get
into the shower?
Essential
oils are highly concentrated volatile liquids, and can irritate the skin.
In their pure form it is best to use them as inhalers. After the shower
when you are still wet, massage your body with essential oils mixed with
Organic Golden Jojoba. Towel off, and you are ready for the day or a good
night's sleep.

Where in the World?
|
|

|
|
Eucalyptus comes to us from Australia. There are many
types of Eucalyptus essential oil. We use Eucalyptus radiata. The aroma
is gentle and smooth, while its properties are highly antiseptic and
restorative. Dr. Kurt Schnaubelt calls it the "baby safe"
Eucalyptus.
Did you
know that Eucalyptus trees are among the largest trees in the world? The
essential oil is stored in oil glands/sacs in the leaves, and is
extracted by steam distillation. Aborigines sleep with their heads by a
Eucalyptus tree when they want to have big dreams.

Aromatic Steam Showers
|
|

|
|
AHHH! Aroma,
steam, and warm water know how to take care of us! If there's no time or
place for an aromatic bath, treat yourself to an aromatic shower every
day. Aroma soothes the emotions, steam relieves congestion, and warm
water relaxes tight muscles. Be sure to use therapeutic grade pure
essential oils. They provide the double benefits of enjoying pure aroma
and immune boosting powers.
Steam baths/showers are known to aid
respiratory challenges, aching muscles, tired bodies, and frazzled minds.
Eucalyptus is the #1 oil used in steam rooms. The aroma often conjures up
memories. Peppermint is another favorite choice. Our OLA Custom Blend #5
is Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Pine, which is a great respiratory brew.
Try Lemon to wake up in the morning, and
Orange to slow down at
night. Lavender is good for relaxation. Take a shower just for the joy of
it with Sandalwood, Patchouli, Ylang Ylang and others.
This makes the heart happy.
Since aroma knows no boundaries, your
bathroom and home receive an aromatic face-lift. You reap the bounty, as
well as all those who enter.
