What would you like essential oils to help you with? … Choose a (1) Mist, (2) Pure Essential Oil, and (3) Blend to bring the benefits of true Aromatherapy into your life right away!

The following recommendations are based on 20 years of study and practice in Aromatherapy. You will find that often we recommend a mist, a neat (straight) essential oil, and a blend. These 3 methods of delivery each have their own value for increasing your total sense of well-being on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level.

Our products are for external use ONLY! Not for internal use or application of pure essential oils directly on the skin.


Essential oils are a microcosm of holistic medicine. The liquid has it natural chemistry of medicinal properties that affect the physical body, while the genuine aroma shifts the emotional state and brain chemistry instantaneously. When several essential oils are listed, choose the ones with aromas that are pleasant to you. This enhances the benefits. There are lots of great options and possibilities! Our goal is to get you started quickly and easily with simple things to do in a cost effective way. As simple as 1, 2, 3.  Choose:  one mist … one single essential oil … one blend from a category below.


Sleep

  1. Lavender Mist your face, head & back of neck to wash away the day…then mist your pillow.
  2. Put 2 drops of pure Lavender essential oil on a cotton ball and tuck in your pillow.
  3. Choose one of the following blends: apply some to your nose, temples, back of neck and shoulders. Lay down and do a slow, gentle, circular clockwise belly rub.
    1. Palm Blend: palm of 7-10 drops of Organic Golden Jojoba & 1-2 drops of pure Lavender
    2. Choose one of our proprietary formulas already blended: Natural TranquilizerBalancer or Comforter Blend.
    3. Many people prefer our Rejuvenation Face Gel as their nightly blend for the soothing aromas.

Stress & Anxiety

  1. Choose our Lavender Mist based on which aroma you enjoy the most.
  2. Keep a bottle of one of the following pure single essential oils in your pocket and take 3-5 deep breaths as needed through the day: Lavender, Orange, Geranium, Lemon, or Ylang Ylang. Choose the aroma that gives you relief just with a whiff. Put 2 drops on a cotton ball and tuck in your pocket.
  3. Choose one of the following blends for massage, bath oil, or after shower oil. Apply to nose, temples, back of neck and shoulders at any time to shift.
    1. Palm Blend: palm of 7-10 drops of Organic Golden Jojoba with 1-2 drops of any single oils listed in #2
    2. Our Soother, Balancer, or Comforter Blends
    3. Use the Rejuvenation Face Gel morning and night on face and neck for its anti-anxiety aromas that seems to soothe the soul.

Headaches

  1. Use Lavender or Lavender-Peppermint Mist as often as you like. Circle head and face and mist back of neck.
  2. Keep a bottle of pure Lavender or Peppermint in your pocket for direct inhalation: 3-5 deep breaths. Some people prefer to use them together. Put 1 drop each on a cotton ball and keep close to your heart and lungs.
  3. Use Lavender and/or Peppermint in a Palm Blend (palm of 7-10 drops of Organic Golden Jojoba with total of 2 drops essential oil). Apply to nose, temples, back of neck and shoulders. Also good for a belly rub to calm down the head. Great to use in a bath as bath oil to relax and rest.

Stomachaches

  1. Use Lavender-Peppermint Mist on face, head and back of neck.
  2. Inhale directly from bottle of pure Peppermint or Orange essential oil. 
  3. Make Palm Blend with Peppermint and/or Orange: palm of 7-10 drops of Organic Golden Jojoba with 2 total drops of essential oil. Apply to nose, temples, back of neck and then do a slow, gentle circular clockwise belly rub. Our Balancer Blend (Lavender, Orange, Peppermint, Roman Chamomile in Organic Golden Jojoba) is also an excellent choice. Great for belly rubs too!

Sinusitis

  1. Use Lavender-Peppermint Mist as often as you like. Circle head and face, breathe deeply, and mist back of neck.
  2. Inhale directly from a bottle of Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Peppermint, or Ravintsara. Use the one you choose in a room diffuser and/or put 2 drops on a cotton ball and keep near chest and lungs. Put 2 drops in a bowl of warm water as a steam tent and put towel over head.
  3. Choose one of the following blends to apply to nose, temples, back of neck and massage sinus area (eyebrows, temples and cheekbone areas).
    1. Palm Blend: 7-10 drops of Organic Golden Jojoba with 2 drops of the essential oil you choose in #2.
    2. Our Stimulator Blend
    3. Our Ear/Nose/Throat Oil

Aches & Pains

  • Use Lavenderor Lavender-Peppermint Mist often on head, face & back of neck to promote relaxation and peace in the midst of the storms of pain.
  • Inhale from a bottle of pure Lavender, Orange, or Geranium to promote the relaxation response and ease the emotional stress that often accompanies physical pain.
  • Choose one of the following blends to use for massage, and also as  bath oil. After getting in the warm bath water, use the blend to massage the aching areas and then rest. A warm wash cloth may be used as a compress cloth over a selected area.

Menopause

  1. Select one of the mists to keep with you and use often. Make big circular clouds around your head & face … then closely mist back of neck. Close eyes & breathe deeply for a quiet moment.
    1. Lavender Mist  - to wash & clear feelings of imbalance and to bring balance to the central nervous system
    2. Lavender-Peppermint Mist – to cool & uplift. Can be helpful with hot flashes (power surges). Keep one in refrigerator for a cooler mist! Also helps with foggy mind feelings.
  2. Keep a bottle of one of the following pure essential oils with you for inhalation (3-5 deep breaths as needed): Lavender, Rose, Geranium, Jasmine or Ylang Ylang. Put 2 drops of your chosen essential oil on a cotton ball and keep it close to your heart. Tuck a cotton ball of Lavender in your pillow at night for blessed sleep!
  3. Make a Palm Blend: palm of 7-10 drops of Organic Golden Jojoba and 2 drops of any of the above essential oils in #2; or use one of the following proprietary blends all made for you. Use the chosen blend as massage oil, and bath oil (get in the warm bath water and then use the oil for self massage). At special sacred quiet moments (as many as you can get!) … apply some of the blend to your nose, temples, back of neck and heart area.
    1. Soother or Comforter Blend
    2. Natural Tranquilizer Blend
    3. Rejuvenation Face Gel (use on heart area also)

                 Note: Also see “Sleep” if a sweet night’s sleep is in need!

Fatigue

  1. Use the Lavender-Peppermint Mist as often as you like to receive a breath of fresh air from this menthol lift. Make big circles around the top of your head, mist face & closely mist back of neck. Close eyes and breathe deeply to feel the relief and rejuvenation.
  2. Keep a bottle of pure of pure Peppermint, Lemon, Rosemary or Eucalyptus with you for 5-7 deep breaths as needed. You can use any of these in a room diffuser, or put 2 drops on a cotton ball to keep in your pocket.
  3. Use the Balancer or Stimulator Blend for self massage or bath oil. You can also make a Palm Blend (7-10 drops of Organic Golden Jojoba in palm and 2 drops of essential oil) with one of the essential oils listed in #2, if you prefer. Apply blend to nose, temples, back of neck at any time to feel better and receive the energetic shift from the oils. Belly and foot rubs are good too!

 

Skin Care for Rashes

  1. Use Lavender Mist on rashes to soothe, calm and receive anti-inflammatory effects.
  2. Apply Skin Calm Gel for skin rashes that are red, hot, chapped, dry or irritated. This gel is cooling. Use Tea Tree Plus Gel for rashes that are not red and hot. Do not use gels on skin that is broken open or open sores. Consult physician if in doubt.
  3. Either Gel may be made a little stronger for spot work on smaller areas. Put a dab of Skin Calm Gel in palm and add 1 drop of pure Lavender. With Tea Tree Plus Gel in palm, add 1 drop of Tea Tree. Only use these stronger amounts for 2-3 applications at the beginning. Then use the gels as they are.

Face Care- Choose the appropriate mist and gel for your morning and night routines as suggested below.       Morning routine: (1) Wash face with healthy soap (liquid or bar), (2) use mist, (3) apply gel (then sunscreen or make-up if desired), (4) mist again. Night-time routine: (1) Wash face with healthy soap (liquid or bar), (2) use mist, (3) apply gel.

  1. Mature and normal skin: Use Lavender or Rejuvenation Mist and Rejuvenation Face Gel (ancient skin care essential oils … our signature top formula for over 15 years).
  2. Oily skin: Lavender Mist or Lavender-Peppermint Mist and Tea Tree Plus Gel.
  3. Sensitive, dry, or red skin: Lavender Mist and Skin Calm Gel.

Note: To add more silky moisture to skin in #1 and #3 … 2-3 drops of Organic Golden Jojoba can be applied to face and neck with the Rejuvenation Face Gel or Skin Calm Gel.

Body Care – our blends are in 100% Organic Golden Jojoba because Jojoba is a not an oil. It is a liquid wax with many anti-oxidants, a close makeup to the sebum in our skin, and a great source of nutrition for the skin. It is a good for all skin types. Use one of our proprietary blends below or just use our Organic Golden Jojoba as body oil, bath oil or after shower oil. Aromatherapy brings wonderful healthy properties to skin care.

  1. For sensitive skin use our Comforter Blend of Lavender, Rose otto & Frankincense.
  2. For normal skin use any of the OLA Four Body & Face Blends, consider our OLA Sampler Pak.
  3. For sluggish skin use our Stimulator Blend.

Sunburn  - only for unbroken skin. Consult physician for extreme sunburn.

  1. Lavender Mist the sunburn as often as you like to cool and soothe the inflamed skin.
  2. Apply Skin Calm Gel as needed for the cooling and anti-inflammatory effects.
  3. After the first two steps are taken and the sunburn is diminishing, you may nurture the skin with our Scar-Bruise Oil for more skin care.

Caregivers Self-Care – the comfort from Aromatherapy and essential oils is royal service to nurturing and supporting caregivers through the most challenging of times.

  1. Keep a mist with you and mist often. Choose the one with the aroma you love the most: Lavender (to balance), Lavender-Peppermint (for menthol lifts). Mist the loved one you are caring for also … a beautiful act of kindness and compassion.
  2. Keep a bottle of pure essential oil with you for inhalations of 3-5 deep breaths to lift your spirits. Some good choices are Lavender, Orange, Lemon, Geranium, Rose or Jasmine. Put 2 drops on a cotton ball and keep close to your heart and lungs or in a pocket. Do the same for loved ones.
  3. Select a blend below or make a Palm Blend: 7-10 drops of Organic Golden Jojoba in palm with 1-2 drops of one of the oils in #2. Apply the blend to your nose, temples, back of neck, chest and belly. Use for self massage and also as a bath oil. Baths with a blend are BIG COMFORTERS.
    1. Soother, Balancer or Comforter Blend – find a few moments of quiet time for this Consider the OLA Four Blends Sampler Pak … then you have different ones for different times.
    2. Consider the “Sleep” routine suggested in this relief plan too!
  • Remember that we are not given more than we can handle … although sometimes we do wonder … God Bless You!

Healthy Travel   … often traveling is challenging to our health and the air and environment is questionable. Drink plenty of good water, eat vibrant foods and play and sleep well!

  1. Keep a Lavender-Peppermint Mist with you for the menthol lift of fresh air and healthy breathing. It also lifts the foggy-head-feelings notorious with travel.
  2. Inhale from a bottle of pure Lavender essential oil for balancing the central nervous system and dealing with the stress and nerves of travel. Use Peppermint inhalations for motion sickness, jet lag, digestion, sinus and head issues.
  3. Travel with our Ear/Nose/Throat Oil for massaging ears, sinus areas, throat, chest and neck … or select our Balancer or Soother Blend for gentle massages at night for a restful sleep.
